Lockdown update
Hi everyone!
Here is an update on what will be happening over the next month with regards to lockdown. From the 5th November onwards Active Nation will be closed. I am still waiting to hear back as to whether it will be possible to access boats during this time, however, if it is the same as the last lockdown this will not be the case. Therefore, if you would like to be able to paddle during this time you will need to remove any of your kit from the site either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Like last time, we will be loaning out equipment for those who wish to continue to train during this time. Priority of the ergos will be given to those who wish to train but are not able to paddle on the water. if you wish to use an ergo during
lockdown please let me know. After this, it will be on a first come, first serve basis. If you want to borrow any other club equipment please put in a request, however, please remember that paddling at this time of year is not the same as in the summer. All club equipment must be collected from the club by 6pm on Wednesday. There will be someone at the club on Wednesday afternoon to allocate kit.
We are aiming to run some virtual sessions for you all during lockdown, I will send out another email once we have confirmed what sessions we are running .
Finally, we are going to look to hold a couple of social events via zoom, as well as a Winter Series Talk to keep everyone involved.
If you have any questions, drop me a message and I will do my best to answer. Once I have heard back from Active Nation, I will send another update to keep you all informed.
Sophie 🙂
