Due to boat and coach availability, places on the start-up day are strictly limited. Therefore, if you would like to come along, please select a date you would like to attend from the list above and register your details on the site. Each paddler attending must be registered individually, but if you are a parent registering on behalf of multiple children you may reuse the same email address and contact number.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT :

Following on from each start up day we will invite you to become a member of the Club and ask you to pay the subscription relevant at that time. Once a member we will then invite you to return the following week ( if you are available ) to take part in a 3 week introductory training course. ( if you cannot make the next week don’t worry we understand we all have busy lives ) You do not need to sign up to this course at this stage, we will send you information about this after the taster day.

These 3 start-up sessions are free as you will have become a member of the Club. After these 3 weeks we will then wish to transfer you to either the Adult or Junior coaching session groups we also operate on Saturday morning at Southampton Canoe Club.

WHERE

Woodmill Lane, Swaythling, Southampton, Hampshire, SO18 2JR

CLOTHING

Make sure you bring a change of clothes to all course and taster days.

Changing rooms and Showers are available at the centre.

Please also make sure that you wear appropriate clothing for the weather that day – A cagoule and hat and gloves are needed especially if it is cold and windy and sometimes even when sunny on a cold day.
